Ten questions with ....Shea Lynn Garner.

We know that a lot of our patients don't look forward to coming to see us. After all, this IS the dentist!  But one of the faces that makes it that much easier to come see us is none other that the one that greets you as you walk in the door. The familiar voice of Eagle Dental, Shea Lynn Garner! She is one of our lovely front office associates that helps you with your appointments and insurance questions. We are fortunate to have had Shea Lynn working with us at Eagle Dental for the past 2 1/2 years, and we look forward to so many more! Read on to find out a bit more about this familiar face!

1) Where were you born and raised? Where did you go to school?

"I was born here in Texarkana, Texas and went to high school at Pleasant Grove High."

2) What was your childhood like?

"I have many fond memories as a child. I used to go trail riding with my dad in the mountains on the weekends. I didn't think there was much more in life that could be better than these moments spent on horseback and honestly, I think I was right! I would spend summers at my mamaw and pawpaws house at the lake. I was a sun tanned, barefoot, free spirit kinda child."

3) Hit shuffle on your iPod. What song plays?

"Ghetto by Elvis Presley and Lisa Marie Presley"

4)If you asked your 10 year old self what you wanted to be when you grow up, what would you have said?

"I have always loved storms. I love the electricity in the air and the excitement of how powerful they can be. So at 10, I would have told you that I wanted to be a Storm Chaser. I also wanted to be an Air Force Pilot after watching Top Gun! But secretly, I wanted to be a country music star...but god didn't plan that for me when he was handing out voices."

5) What is your favorite way to pass time?

"Working around my house. I have a little farm, and I love house projects. I also love camping. I enjoy hiking, exploring, and new adventures."

6) Tell us about your family?

"I married my high school sweetheart. We have been married for 16 1/2 years and I have been with him for over 20 years. We have 2 beautiful daughters- Ashlyn (16) and Madalee  (10). We also have 2 dogs- Sarabi and Aspen, a horse- Abigal, a donkey- Cloud, 6 chickens, and a cat- Chesire."

7) If you had unlimited resources and funds, what would you do with your time and money?

"OK...stick with me through this one....I would watch people. I would look for the people that are truly in need. The ones that are struggling day to day and need a helping hand. I would find them and offer them assistance in whatever necessary to rebuild their lives. I love helping people."

8)What is your most prized possession?

"This is so easy...I could do without everything except for my family."

9) What is your favorite quote?

"Never say never.  -Charles Dickens"

10) What do you love most about your job at Eagle Dental Center?

"I love that we are always implementing new ideas to help our patient experience be the best it can possibly be. I take that very seriously. I love that we all have a voice at Eagle Dental and every single part of our team brings something to the table."
