Ten questions with....Mary Collin Marracino

Welcome back friends! We hope that you have been enjoying getting to know our team members at Eagle Dental center and getting a little insight on who they are.  Our highlight team member for today is one of our hygienists, Mary Collin. Mary Collin, or affectionately known as "MC" to most of her patients and friends has been practicing dental hygiene at Eagle Dental for over 11 years. A familiar face to many at our practice, she has spent the majority of her career at Eagle Dental Center. We sat down with MC to ask her a few questions- and this is what we got.

1. When/where did you graduate dental hygiene school?

"I went to the University of Tennessee and graduated with my BS in Dental Hygiene in 2005. GO VOLS!"

2. What is the best part of being a dental hygienist?

"I love my patients that I get to work with. Through the years my patients have become like a little family to me! I enjoy getting to watch the kids grow up and families expand over the years."

3. Hit shuffle on your iPod...what song plays?

"Oh boy...this could be interesting. My iPod is incredibly random. OK...It's Can't You Hear Me Knocking by the Rolling Stones."

4. Give me three words that your friends would use to describe you.

"Loyal, Fun, Adventurous"

5. You're given a week all expense paid vacation to anywhere in the world. Where would you go?

"My dream vacation is a trip around the world. I'd start with London, fly to Paris, then Rome, Athens, Cairo, Jerusalem, Mumbai, Bangkok, Beijing, Toyko, Sydney, and end in Tahiti. I might not ever come back from there! And I'm afraid that would take longer than a week..."

6. What is your most prized possession?

"I've grown to realize that material possessions are just that...material. The most prized possession I have is the people that love me for who I am and nothing more. My friends, family, and my dog, Ripley."

7. What is your favorite quote?

"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Helen Keller"

8. What is your favorite time of year?

"Fall! The crisp cool air, football, pumpkins, and Halloween!"

9. What is your pet peeve?

"Being late. Time is the one thing that we cannot get back."

10. What did you want to be when you were a child?

"I wanted to be an actress on Broadway. I loved to sing and dance...I am certain that I wore my parents out!"

Welcome back again, friends! Who's ready for another "getting to know you" post?? We love putting our team members on spotlight, and today we are putting one of our shining stars on stage front! Today we are talking to Bethany Samuels. A very important link for our practice, Bethany has been with us for 3 1/2 years, and we couldn't be more proud to call her a part of the Eagle Dental Family.
