Ten Questions with...Bethany Samuels

Welcome back again, friends! Who's ready for another "getting to know you" post?? We love putting our team members on spotlight, and today we are putting one of our shining stars on stage front! Today we are talking to Bethany Samuels. A very important link for our practice, Bethany has been with us for 3 1/2 years, and we couldn't be more proud to call her a part of the Eagle Dental Family. You may recognize her as one of the pretty faces at the front desk that helps with making appointments and figuring out those troubling insurance questions. She's truly one of a kind and we are going to enjoy getting to know her better!

1) Where were you born and raised?

"I was born in Fort Worth, TX in August of 1974. My mom brother and I moved to Texarkana in '76. I attended Texas High School and graduated in 1992."

2) What was your childhood like?

"My childhood holds so many wonderful memories. I grew up always going to the lake and helping my daddy in his garden or building something. I was always on his heels. My daddy always taught me how to do things that most girls didn't want to do. That way I would be smart enough to get it done without a man!"

3) Hit shuffle on your iPod. What song plays?

"I am the Fire by Halestorm"

4) What is your favorite meal?

"I love anything Mexican...especially guacamole. LaFogata is my favorite place to eat!"

5) What is your favorite quote?

"Once you get rid of all your excuses you will find all of your results."

6) If you asked your 10 year old self what you wanted to be when you grow up, what would you have said?

"Well, at 10 years old I would have probably changed my mind each time you asked me! But I recall always saying that I wanted to be a hairdresser."

7)What is your most prized possession?

"Absolutely my son Weston. He is my heart and soul. We have the best relationship."

8)Tell us about your family.

"I have been married almost 10 years to my husband, Kevin Samuels. We have our son together, Weston who is 8. He also has three daughters Shelby, Mallory, and Lacee who I am very proud to call my stepdaughters."

9) What is your favorite way to pass time?

"About a year and a half ago I began working out. I have fallen in love with it and the way I feel afterwards. I find it relaxing after a stressful day."

10) What is your favorite thing about your job at Eagle Dental?

"I love helping people feel good about themselves. Our team is exceptional at this- I love being a part of it! Seeing the smiles as people head out the door is what I look forward to most during my day."

Now that you've read up a little more on how amazing Bethany is, be sure and tell her you read about her interview. Also, be sure to stay tuned so that you can catch your favorite Eagle Dental team member and learn more about them! We look forward to seeing you all soon!
